Maya Morshed

Maya Morshed is the founder of Passionfruit, a culture platform focused on people, process, and the worlds they build. She is Egyptian and was born & raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Maya works at the intersection of culture, creativity and identity. She holds a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the American University in Cairo, where she developed a strong foundation in media, brand strategy, and cultural storytelling. During her time in university, she launched The Passionfruit Podcast, beginning her work in long-form conversation and independent media. Today, Passionfruit exists as an evolving platform that documents creative ambition, personal drive, and cultural momentum. Through conversation, observation and curation, Maya is building a body of work that reflects how ideas take shape, scale and leave a mark.
